For this project we had to create a manual for the game we made. In it we have instructions on how to play the game and facts about Portland, Oregon which our game is supposed to take place. My partner for this project was also Cece. We collaborated very well and split up the work evenly.
For this project we had to interview a domestic violence victim. I made the script and took notes from the interview. It was for everyone to read in the book we were making. The purpose of this project was to spread awareness. My partners were Miles and Kai. We didn't really collaborate well we just did what we had to do. I wasn't really proud of this project mostly because I felt like I didn't contribute much but I was a little proud when we made the book. I learned that it is hard to get help when you are in a very hard situation like domestic violence but there is always someone out there who will help you.
For this project we got into groups and we assigned a problem that either hindered human connection or progress. My partner (Cece) and I got assigned Drug Addiction. We also had to pick a place where drug is a big problem. We found that drugs are a big problem all through out the west coast. We decided to make our location Portland, Oregon. This project was also in Physics and Writing Seminar. For the Humanities part we had to create slides and present what we've learned about in our topic and location. For the presentation above I wasn't here for it. I was in Montana for a family emergency. Cece had to do the presentation alone. Sorry Cece :( For this presentation we had to talk about the three major wars in Portland, Oregon and
For this project we had to pick whether we wanted a super hero or a villain. If it was a superhero it had to be a healthy food. If the food was a villain it had to be an unhealthy food.
I choose to do a healthy food and the food I chose was a pineapple. I named the pineapple superhero Pineapple Pete. His super powers are shooting his spikes at his enemies, using pineapple juice to make the villains slip or give vitamin C to children. Like all super heroes, Pineapple pete has a weakness. His weakness is cold weather or icy snow. What I liked about this project is we got to create our own super hero. What I didn't like about the project is I had to keep revising his powers and research his weaknesses. 1. What is the name of the project?
~ Of Mice and Men and Justice Project 2. Who did you work with? Did you work well together? ~ I worked with Cece and Jazzy. I think we did work well together but we didn't do much talking because we were finishing our jobs. 3. Is this "beautiful" work? Was this the best work you could have possibly done? Why do you say so? Explain in detail. ~ No, I don't think my work was beautiful. I think it could have been better. I didn't do the evidence correctly, like name it evidence #1, and I couldn't print out a photo of the fake crime scene. 4. What could you have improved about your work? If you were to go back and repeat the project, what would you have done differently? ~ If I could improve my work I would have asked my mom to print out the picture at her work, I would have brought in better evidence and labeled them correctly. 5. Please provide at least 2 pictures with descriptions/explanations: - Evidence went missing so we can't provide any pictures. 1. What is the name of the project? ~ Mousetrap car design 2. Who did you work with? Did you work well together? ~ I worked with Oliver. Yes, we did work well together. 3. Is this "beautiful" work? Was this the best work you could have possibly done? Why do you say so? Explain in detail. ~ I think that our car is nice but not beautiful. This wasn't the best work we could have possibl done. All it have is a red color scheme, I white and purple star, and some glitter. I think we were to focused on getting it to move than making it all pretty. 4. What could you have improved about your work? If you were to go back and repeat the project, what would you have done differently? ~ If I could go back and repeat the project I would have put more designs on the car and make it look pretty. I could have improved my car by putting more designs that resemble the character (Ruth) of our car. 5. Please provide at least 2 pictures with descriptions/explanations These are pictures of our Mousetrap car that we made for Ruth.
1. What is the name of the project?
~ The name of this project was the Spoken Word Project. 2. Who did you work with? Did you work well together? ~ I worked with Oliver. Yes, we worked well together. 3. Is this "beautiful" work? Was this the best work you could have possibly done? Why do you say so? Explain in detail. ~ I think that our Spoken Word Project is considered Beautiful work. I do think we could have done better but I still think our Spoken Word is beautiful. I think if we had more time it could have been better. 4. What could you have improved about your work? If you were to go back and repeat the project, what would you have done differently? ~I think we could have done better on our binder. My partner was absent the day we had to turn in the binder, so we were missing some assignments in our binder. If I could go back I would get all the assignments in the binder. Purpose of the Mini-Project: That Picture is how my butterfly poster would have looked if I printed it out in color. The second picture is my story about the butterfly.
